Sprint Race :- A1 team India driver “Armaan Ebrahim” started the race in 15th place on grid. He had a strong start and was able to put up a best lap time of 1 min 57.770 sec. Though he missed out on scoring a point ( firstever) by just one place but he beat Adam Khan of Team Pakistan quite comprehensively despite starting behind him.
Feature Race :- ( Now thats interesting ) Starting from the 11th place he had a good start and moved upto the 7th place into the first corner but he was pushed onto grass by Adam Khan going into turn two. This made him lose 7 positions and was pushed back to 14th place. But Armaan didnt loose his nerve and again putting up fantastic laps caught up with Adam Khan. At this time he was lapping one second faster than Adam Khan and it was just a matter of time before he made his move on Adam Khan. Coming into turn 4 he came right behind Adam Khan when Adam braked much earlier than Armaan's normal braking point and there was a contact. Armaan stamped hard on his brakes locking all the four tyres and hit Adam from behind sending him off the track and managed to keep his car together. But it forced him to go to pit. The team did a quick pit stop ,changed all the four tyres, and the entire front wing and nose cone assembly .After hittingthe track again he was the third fastest car and was about to takeover RSA driver when there was a suspension failure due to the previous injury and the car spinned. He managed to start his car with the help of the marshals but was later black flagged as no external assistance is allowed.
